A Picture Is Worth How Many Words?

Without the help of God's men and women we would be stagnant and unable to move toward the visions God has given us for this mission. Below you will find pictures of just a few of our brothers in the Lord who have given of themselves unselfishly and with cheerful multi-talented vigor for His cause. We cherish their help, their words of instruction, wisdom and -most of all, the fellowship of the Spirit.

Don and his Bobcat

You can't see him very well, except for his red hat, but Don Corp deftly wields his Bobcat and very ably renders tons of dirt into a landscaping work of art. We will get a better picture of Don in the future.

Without the help of Don Kirkpatrick, and his lovely wife Bonnie, much of what has been accomplished on this mission would still be waiting to be done. Here he is pictured digging out the basement of the "All Purpose Building" in preparation for the concrete floor.

Vernon (Vern) Anderson (pictured above) and Nathan (Nate) Hale (pictured below at far left) are two men who have spearheaded the work crews composed of men from First Evangelical Free Church's "Men On The Move" who have offered pragmatic and very real help to missions around the world.

Promise: We will get a better picture of Nathan Hale (far left) in the future as well as Don Corp! His ancestor was buried a mere ten miles from here in the 1830s by none other than, captain of volunteers in the Blackhawk War, Abraham Lincoln! He is also related to the lady that petitioned Lincoln and Congress on behalf of our favorite holiday and she is thus credited with the first official instituting of Thanksgiving.

Not exactly Iwo Jima but......

We leave you with a picture that embodies the spirit of the Christian teamwork that has been so present here. To the our Christian brothers and sisters who have contributed finances or who have been here giving their blood, sweat and skills (by God's grace, not too many tears), we want to take this opportunity to say a very heartfelt..... THANK YOU!!
